Project Inspiration continues with a song called In a Lucid Dream. Quite a simplistic picture I would say. When I listened to the song I instantly thought of a red ribbon and I came up with a concept of a girl with a ribbon. I could have drawn something very complex because in a dream, especially a lucid dream everything is possible. However, I decided to do something more simplistic because the song, to me, seems quite serene and simplistic. It doesn't need any fancy things to be beautiful, nor does my picture. A new thing in this picture is that I sketched it with a pencil but the finished work is all made with ink. Perhaps I should start to use ink more because my coloured pencils are getting very short. Or then I could just nuy new ones. Oh well...

Hyvin sopii tähän tuo tussi, tykkään tuosta yksinkertaisuudesta ja puhtaudesta. Tusseilla tulee helposti ylityöstetyn näköinen(tai siis miulla ainakin...), mut tää on just hyvä. :)

Mie yritänkin olla kovasti varovainen noiden tussien kanssa. Meinasin ensin värittää tuon paidan vaalean harmaaksi ja sitten varjostaa tummemmalla, mutta totesin, että saattaa mennä liian suttuseksi. Ilmeisesti tein oikean ratkaisun. :)

I love the song you linked but because I promised in the beginning of the project only to draw the first suggested song in the newest post of this project, I must wait for the first comment to appear to the next post. If you wish, you can go and comment the newest post. However, I like this song so much that I might draw it anyway at some point.

I love the lyrics! I had no idea what they were in English but there was this certain feeling in the song that I just had to draw this way. And thank you for the compliments and the lyrics. I have started to listen to Satsuki after drawing this picture and the songs are so beautiful I just keep on listening more and more songs.
